畑では、4月に植えた種芋から育った苗がぐんぐん成長し、
いよいよ畑へ植えるための苗を切り取る時期を迎えました。
 

さつまいもづくりに欠かせないこの作業を「苗切り」といいます🌱
 

苗切りでは、茎の太さや節の状態を見極めながら、
一本一本丁寧に切り取っていきます。

In the fields, the seedlings have been growing steadily,
and the time has come to cut them.

While checking the thickness of the stems and the condition of the nodes,
each seedling is carefully selected and cut.

This careful selection is an essential step in growing strong and healthy plants.

The cut seedlings will be planted in the fields,
where they will grow into delicious sweet potatoes by autumn… 🍠✨
